OUR FOUNDER
Rebecca Busacca is the Founder and CEO of Accreditation Advisors, Inc., an educational compliance and strategy consulting firm in the Washington, DC metro area. She offers 25+ years of experience in guiding postsecondary institutions and workforce development boards define their mission, policy framework, operating performance and compliance with accreditation and state and federal regulations.
Rebecca previously served the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), arguably the most rigorous accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Her roles included Senior Director of Accreditation, Commission Liaison, Chair of the Initial and Reaccreditation Application Review, Branching and Complaint Review Committees and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Manager. In these many roles, she coordinated and taught 75+ accreditation training workshops and performed 100's of on-site evaluations of postsecondary institutions nationwide.

Additionally, she played a critical role in the preparation of two petitions for reauthorization with the Department of Education.
​
Rebecca joined ACCET after serving as the Director of a postsecondary institution in the Washington DC metro area. During her tenure as School Director, she completely redesigned their policy framework and standard operating policies greatly improving efficiency.

Over her career, she has established an extensive network of both education and workforce development professionals.
